The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be a reasonable price for a cot featuring the most advanced features. She also liked how it appeared in the bedroom and believed that the grey shade would suit most modern homes. She did point out that it's not a good idea to rock a baby younger because it can cause an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

This is one of Chicco's more expensive options. However, it has a lot of excellent features. It's designed as a side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable for babies up to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel, which can be lowered and raised by pressing one button. This was especially helpful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach in and pick up their baby without waking them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by it's own, however this is not recommended, as it increases the risk that your baby will fall out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will remain in place when it is attached correctly to the parent's mattress. This is a great feature to have in place for peace of mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.

It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one area to another. It's also small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use which is a bonus when you have to transport it. The only issue our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, making it difficult to observe your child from your bed.
